Kanye West Calls and Raps for Fan Before She Loses Battle With Cancer

January 8, 2018 by WIHH

Kanye West has kept a low profile in recent months, but a story surfaced Monday morning about him quietly reaching out to a girl who was battling cancer.

On January 3, a woman on Twitter responded to a tweet about Kanye with the message: “This girl in my town had cancer and Kanye called her a couple days ago to rap for her. I think Kim was there too. Wasn’t even blasted on social media or anything. She passed yesterday. I have so much respect for him tho. Making her happy in her last moments.”

The interaction was kept low key, as someone else responded to the tweet by writing: “Tbh I didn’t know this happened and I live in the girls town, the fact that he did that wow.”

Kanye West fan Twitter account TeamKanyeDaily noticed the tweet late Sunday evening and brought attention to the story. Later, Kim Kardashian acknowledged the interaction with a follow-up tweet, saying, “We are praying for her family.”

Amidst Kanye’s frequent nightmare PR moments, several stories like this have been surfacing lately, including July’s reports that he reached out to a paralyzed fan with custom Yeezys and a handwritten note that said, “You are an inspiration. You show the world anyting is possible. Thank you for sharing your journey.”
