In the upcoming issue of The Source, it appears as if Bun B will receive 5 mics. Some of the notable titles reviewed that did not receive 5 mics are: Eminem – Recovery, Rick Ross – Teflon Don, Big Boi – Sir Lucious Left Foot – The Son of Chico Dusty, Fat Joe – The Darkside Vol.1 , Drake – Thank Me Later , and The Roots – How I Got Over
I must say that I have heard all of those albums except Fat Joe (putting it on right now) and other that says a lot for Bun B. You know, Bun has been putting it down for years. He is most notably known as a member of UGK and has always been my favorite of the two. Pimp C received all of the attention for the most part mainly because of his voice but Bun, lyrically, could flat out go. What Iz Hip Hop congratulates Bun B for his accomplishment receive the elusive 5 Mic stamp from The Source.
